Similar to US dollar, Hong Kong dollar is subdivided into 100 cents. Very little amount of cent is of nearly no value and 1-cent and 5-cent coins are no longer in circulation. Aside from the cent coins, there are also coins for $10, $5, $2, $1, 50 cents, 20 cents and 10 cents.
Hong Kong dollar bank note is not difficult to distinguish. There are 5 notes in circulation, the 1000 dollar note; the 500 dollar note; the 100 dollar note; the 50 dollar note and the 20 dollar note.
