New Territories
New Territories, or N.T, is a one of the four regions in Hong Kong which excludes Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Stonecutters Island. New Territories also include outlying islands around Hong Kong island but not the Hong Kong island itself. The New Territories now comprises an area of 952 square kilometer.
The New Territories has up to 49.8% of Hong Kong’s population and is comprised of 9 districts; North; Sai Kung; Sha Tin; Tai Po; Islands; Kwai Tsing; Tsuen Wan; Tuen Mun and Yuen Long. The Hong Kong’s New Territories is teemed with myriad natural delights, cultural heritages and temples and the famous horserace course, Sha Tin.
